During the Blackwater Rebellion, House Roxton remained loyal to the crown. At the Folly by Greentree, once the Rowan leading the charge had fallen and rebel forces had overwhelmed the loyalists, Stafford Roxton rallied the remaining men and organised a successful retreat back to the main host.
